DIRECTIONS TO USE NANOKOAT ∞ ACCT
NANOKOAT ∞ ACCT is READY TO USE water-based compound with three important properties for corrosion control.
- Removes already present rust(corrosion) on the steel surface using ACCT technology.
- Protects steel from further corrosion by forming a transparent coating on steel surface.
- Increases bonding with primer/paint for better paint adhesion with steel.
USE ON: Mild Steel (HR and CR) and Cast-iron Product Only.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
- Rust, dirt, oil, mill scale, paint, and other contaminants must be completely removed from the steel surface before applying NANOKOAT. Wipe the steel surface with a clean cloth, ensuring it is completely dry and free of moisture before coating with NANOKOAT.
- TOOL: Manual By wire brushing, chipping, scraping, sanding with emery-paper no. 80 <--> and 120 ^ by cross-method.
- POWER TOOL: Angle grinder with wire cup-brush, sand blasting, grit blasting, waterjet etc.
NANOKOAT∞APPLICATION:
- Shake well before use.
- TOOL: Brush, Cotton roller or Cotton cloth. Only use plastic container for application and storage.
NEVER use metal (Tin) container. Use New Bruch, cotton roller or cotton cloth only. - Apply 1 to 2 coats of NANOKOAT evenly on a steel surface, allowing a maximum of 15-20 minutes of drying time between each coat. The end result should be a black or steel finish. NANOKOAT DFT: 10-15microns
- TOUCH DRY: Drying time is between 30 minutes to 1 hour based on atmospheric conditions.
- HARD DRY: 5-6 hours compulsory. Avoid getting water on the NANOKOAT treated surface until it is fully cured.
- Brush, Cotton Roller and other tools should be cleaned with water and soapwater immediately after use.
PRIMER & TOPCOAT APPLICATION:
- Any primer can be use. (#Optional)
- Enamel, Epoxy, PU etc. final finish paint can be painted over NANOKOAT and primer surface
- ^As per primer and paint to be use as per its manufactures SAP (SAP = Standard Application Process)

STORAGE:
